Syntech Distribution is rapidly expanding its range of in-house Winx accessories, giving resellers access to even more high-quality products at an affordable price.
The distributor handpicks high-demand products that help resellers stay competitive, ensures their quality and suitability for the local market – and then brings them in at an affordable price point.

Craig Nowitz, CEO of Syntech Distribution, explains that the in-house products are sourced from 35 of the world’s top factories.
“Each product in the range is curated from one of the three top factories per product segment,” he says.
“By dealing with the factories ourselves, we save customers all the extra branding and marketing costs that a third-party would add. So, you are buying exactly the same quality as a tier-one brand, but saving 30% to 40% of the price.”
This means Syntech can effectively cover 80% of the market with 20% of the products they would normally have to hold.
To ensure the Winx products are top quality, Syntech management frequently visits the factories to verify quality control all the way to final production. “We also have our own test lab and do the extra certification for either South African or international markets, depending on where the products are destined for,” Nowitz adds.
It’s a competitive market space, Nowitz adds. “We have been successful by introducing quality products that are cost-effective. The reviews we are getting on the products show they have earned customer trust, and that people recognise the quality.”
What’s in the Winx range?
The Winx range covers consumer electronic accessories, says Jason Nell, senior product manager at Syntech Distribution.
“We started with keyboards and mice, then added hubs and power banks,” he says. “Today we have a pretty comprehensive line-up that includes everything from keyboards to headsets – and everything in between.”
The Syntech team keeps a close eye on emerging trends – and listens to their customers – when deciding on what new solutions it should add to the range.
“As the technology evolves, we have to keep adding new products, or generations of products,” Nell says. “And we make sure that we bring in what our customers need.”
At Syntech, customer feedback is embedded into its processes.
“We are very interactive with our resellers, and the account managers engage with them as much as possible.
“Every Monday, we get a feedback sheet from all the account managers with any requests or comments from customers and partners,” he says. “We scrutinise these sheets to get an insight into what people are looking for. From there, we can decide how to meet the need through either our own brands or another brand if we have it in stock.
“This is how we know that what we are supplying are meeting our customers’ real-world wants and needs.”
Nowitz adds that Syntech doesn’t just talk about quality: with its two-year guarantee they’re demonstrating their own trust in the Winx brand.
“We are trying to build a brand that the people of South Africa, and now international markets too, can trust.”
