Digital Planet’s enhanced customer offering will deliver market leading business intelligence capability to local enterprises, enabling a ‘levelling up’ in digital capability for its customers, with enhanced data-driven decision making, improved data literacy, multiple operational efficiencies and the ability to compete on a global scale.

Through Yellowfin’s innovative white-labelled data analytics capability, Digital Planet will improve the performance of its growing reporting environment, giving access to the latest data-related services and reporting tools to its customers. It will also drastically optimise Digital Planet’s data warehouse costs and refresh performance from hours to minutes and Exasol’s analytics database will enable predictable costs and faster performance.

Digital Planet aims to provide critical B2B resources that will empower local business with vital resources and a pathway to rapid growth and scale through partnering with technology leaders like Yellowfin. “Yellowfin will play an important role in driving our educated workforce to use self-service reporting and analytics capabilities, in order to drive better decision making,” said Dominic Albrecht, Head of Analytics, Digital Planet.

Geoff Sheppard, vice-president: sales EMEA at Yellowfin, says: “Powered by Yellowfin’s market-leading analytics suite, Digital Planet customers will be able to access mission-critical business insights”. He continued, “We are seeing many of our customers now offering modernized data analytics as a self-service white-labelled capability to better their customers’ UX and ultimately increase retention and profitability.”

“We are very excited to be working with Yellowfin and AIGS Insights to help Digital Planet deliver insights to its customers in a more timely manner,” says Jurgen Fleiss, head of cloud alliances at Exasol. “By using Exasol to power their data analytics, Digital Planet can now offer its customers faster and easier access to the insights they need to make truly data-driven decisions.”

Digital Planet is also a firm believer in the idea of storytelling with data and will continue to explore additional Yellowfin capabilities such as action based dashboards, automated data discovery, and data storytelling all available in Yellowfin’s single, integrated, seamless platform. They will also experiment further with its high-performance database, as the better data load and refresh times of Exasol allow for more flexibility to experiment with Yellowfin’s analytics suite whilst keeping related costs predictable.
