Sony has announced the launch of its newest and most advanced XAV-AX8050D in-car media display.
The display minimises distractions so that drivers can focus on the road ahead. The 8.95-inch, anti-glare display hovers seamlessly over the dashboard and works in a single-DIN space, and the sturdy mount can be adjusted in three directions to allow for flexible installation in a wide variety of vehicles.
Apple CarPlay integrates an iPhone with the car audio’s display and controls. With support for third-party navigation apps, users now have even more choices to help get them to their destination.

WebLink Cast is a lightweight app delivery platform designed especially for in-vehicle use. Using the Android or iOS device connection, it is now updated with the capability to mirror smartphone screen rights on the XAV-AX8050D display.
The rearview camera-ready function displays visuals from the connected rearview camera and can be accessed when the vehicle is put in reverse or by tapping the “Rear Camera” icon on the home screen.
