Kaspersky has introduced a vital update to its software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) solution. The new Link State Control technology ensures realtime, automated monitoring of network tunnel availability, allowing companies to detect and resolve connectivity issues instantly.
With the new update, Kaspersky SD-WAN’s tunnel availability monitoring mechanism has been significantly improved due to Link State Control technology, which eliminates the need for manual configuration. These checks are now performed completely automatically at the protocol level, with the quality of each tunnel measured separately. This new feature enhances the stability and reliability of Kaspersky SD-WAN, elevating network performance to a new level.
Kaspersky also introduced a new mechanism to restart the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) registration process, along with new management and usability tools for CPE firmware based on the Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK). Moreover, the SD-WAN installer, Zero-Touch Provisioning user experience, and CPE deletion mechanism, were enhanced.
