Sandisk has launched the WD Blue SN5100 NVMe SSD, a PCIe Gen 4.0 drive that features speeds nearly 30% faster than the prior generation.
Engineered with SANDISK BiCS8 QLC NAND technology, the WD Blue SN5100 NVMe SSD is designed to work with 4K and 8K video and massive project folders.
Highlights of the drive include:
- Accelerate AI and creative workflows – offers up to 7 100 MB/s read speeds (1TB–2TB models), thanks to BiCS8 QLC 3D NAND with CMOS Bonded to Array (CBA) technology.
- Less waiting – improves application responsiveness and quickly copying large files or project folders with SANDISK nCache 4.0 technology.
