Oppo South Africa has launched the Reno8 Series, boasting 4K Ultra Night Video with HDR, and offering up to 20% faster image processing.

The long lasting 4500mAH battery is life changing for consumers looking to live their way through the unpredictable local energy supply. The device is shipped with an 80W Supervooc charger that is TUV (international battery safety accreditation) approved and enables 50% charge in just 11 minutes. The Oppo self-developed Battery Health Engine allows for in excess of 1 600 charging cycles which is around four years of optimal battery health.

The Oppo Reno8 Pro features the MediaTek 5nm Dimensity 8100-MAX SOC, while power consumption has been reduced with a lower temperature increase during high frame rate usage and longer battery life compared to its predecessors. The 8Gb of ram is expandable by a further 5Gb, for a total of 13Gb.

The 120Hz refresh rate and the 1000Hz Ultra touch response, allows users to perform actions faster than other players while a X-Axis Linear Motor offers true-to-life haptic vibration.

The device includes a dedicated imaging neural processing unit (NPU) – the MariSilicon X, with a chipset dedicated to the management of camera functions and processes.

The main camera offers 50MP, DOL-HDR, a 1/1,56 inch sensor size and 4X dynamic range; and the 32MP Selfie camera has a 2X zoom.

Storage totals 256Gb, but can be expanded up to 1Tb.
