Kathy Gibson reports – IBM has launched a new tool to help business partners to identify risks in their customers’ environments and recommend remediation.
The Immersive Cyber Resilience Experience, which launches today, is a simple four-step process that any business partner can implement.
David-Chancellor Maddison, cyber practice program leader: EMEA at IBM, explains that it starts with a three-minute video that shows customers the potential impact of a cyber attack.
He was speaking at the First Distribution launch of the IBM Power 11 in Johannesburg.
Business partners are then guided to ask 12 questions that form that basis of the customer’s digital assessment.
It gives them three short cyber resilience pitches that they could deliver.
The results of the digital assessment are sent to the IBM watsonx Risk Assessment Assistant, which send back recommendations on where the customer is vulnerable, and how they can improve their cybersecurity posture.
So far, the tool has delivered 71 experiences with actionable recommendations and ExpertLabs advice.
And every one of these 71 customers has seen results, Maddison says.
