Together with its partners, Huawei is leveraging the wealth of technology and products in the commercial division to build solutions that partners can take to market.

CloudCampus @ MSP allows partners to become a managed service partner, with a service extension from WAN to LAN that allows for innovative business models, more scenarios and returns.

Jacques Visagie, chief technology officer of the Huawei Commercial Division EBG, explains that the platform is already built so time to market is quick and, because it a cloud platform, the partner doesn’t have to worry about day-to-day management and maintenance.

How can partners build a smart classroom? Huawei offers a solution that takes fibre to the desktop, with a fan-free, silent IdeaHub solution that enables interactive teaching anytime, anywhere to simplify learning.

Having a smart classroom means students can assess education wherever they are.

A lecture hall is a different requirement, and Huawei provides a solution that include Aps in triple-radio mode that increases concurrent access by 50%, allowing more students to access WiFi.

The wired campus network is another solution, that converges wired and wireless into one network for the entire school.

“And you can roll this, pre-configured, into the environment,” Visagie says.

Healthcare IoT is becoming a hot topic, and Huawei adds value by consolidating the infrastructure. “It’s not about the sensors: is the collection, storage and usage of the data reliable?” Visagie says.

Huawei moves the IoT network into the wireless network, with a single point of monitoring and management.

“The platform consolidates all the information from all the networks into a single pane of glass.”

Stadiums are top of mind at the moment with so many sporting events going on around the world.

It is a difficult environment, and technology that connects further than other technology is important, Visagie explains. Huawei does this through a combination of outdoor and indoor APs.

There has been a big uptake in the smart branch concept, with Huawei SD-WAN bringing each branch 10 times the bandwidth at one-third of the price.

Intelligent wireless manufacturing solutions are proving popular as customers seek to automate and deploy IoT. Huawei provides factory WiFi 6 CPE and AP devices that let customers build a unique solution.

The smart factory has a unique requirement for storage, and SD-WAN allows partners to provide secure, reliable connectivity to cloud storage.

Fully wireless digital hotels converge a high-speed web surfing experience for extreme customer satisfaction with effective connectivity a the right place, at the right time.

Digital commercial real estate is an innovative service experience that lets customers agilely adopt different technologies for different applications that may come up in the future, while ensuring blind spot-free coverage and no congestion.

Smart retail requires fully wireless and guaranteed key services interconnection that enables digital operations to improve storage efficiency. This needs to integrate with smart warehousing and inter-branch connectivity.

Video surveillance devices double up as stocktaking agents, enabled by machine learning.

Within the store, IoT and WiFi convergence provide one network for the store, offering connectivity at the right price and with the right power.

Adopting WiFi 6 in the public areas in shopping malls makes it easy to cope with peak customer traffic, allowing users to move freely without going offline. Meanwhile, CCTV enables facial recognition and behaviour analytics.

WiFi 6 could similarly be deployed in supermarkets to enhance smart signal coverage, effectively eliminating shelf blocking and ensuring an optimal customer experience.

Smaller companies can also benefit from these solutions: Huawei’s SME Campus Network offers always-on WiFi signal regardless of where the user is.
