Denon has introduced the 7.2-channel AVR-X1800H 8K audio/video receiver (AVR).
It offers:
- Immersive music and movies by including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Both Dolby and DTS technologies add virtualised height and surround sound effects in 7.1, 5.1 or 2.1 speaker arrangements. Dolby Surround and DTS Neural:X upmixer optimise legacy content.
- Advanced 8K home theatre and next generation gaming with the AXR-X1800H featuring an advanced HDMI section. Three of six HDMI inputs and one output are dedicated to 8K, with support for 8K/60Hz, HLG, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dynamic HDR pass-through up to 40Gbps bandwidth. Gamers get support for 4K120, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Quick Frame Transport (QFT), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).
- High resolution music streaming via WiFi, Bluetooth, and Apple AirPlay 2, through music streaming services, including Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal and more, via HEOS Built-in technology.
- The AVR-X1800H supports seven speakers with discrete high-current amplifiers on all channels and will deliver up to 145 W per channel.
