Dynabook Europe has announced two new devices: the Portégé X30W-K and the Portégé X30L-K.

Both devices have an ultralight magnesium alloy and a separate Airflow cooling system.

The two models come with Windows 11 Pro, and are powered by the latest 12th generation Intel Core processors up to i7 running at a 28 watt power rating.

The X30W-K, a 13,3-inch convertible weighing from 979g, has up to 32GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 memory running at 5200MHz, and ultra-fast PCIe Gen4 SSD storage (up to 1TB).

The X30L-K, weighing from 904g, offers up to 32GB LPDDR5 4800MHz dual-channel memory paired with ultra-fast PCIe Gen4 SSD storage (up to 1TB) and includes Intel Iris Xe graphics.

The X30W-K has a battery life of up to 13 hours, and the X30L-K has a battery life of up to 11 hours. The quick charge function allows workers to achieve 40% battery charge in 30 minutes. With facial and fingerprint biometric activation the device can be unlocked in under a second.

The new X30W-K model features harman/kardon speakers and Dolby Atmos, as well as twin noise cancelling mics and AI-assisted noise reduction. It has a webcam and an 8MP world-facing webcam with anti-reflection coating.

Both devices have undergone MIL STD 810H testing.

The X30W-K and X30L-K are engineered to meet Microsoft’s Secured-core device requirements, with a combination of proprietary BIOS plus face and fingerprint authentication and a webcam shutter and security lock slot.

Each device has two Thunderbolt 4 enabled USB-C ports plus Intel AX211 2×2 Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
