Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has announced the immediate availability of the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1, the world’s smallest commercial 14-inch 2-1 and the first PC to use incorporate sensor presence technology.
Built for optimised portability and connectivity, the Latitude 7400 2-in-1, despite its size, does not compromise on performance and battery life. The 2-in-1 ships with the latest Intel 8th Generation up to i7 4-Core vPro processors and the battery is can last up to 24 hours (in a single charge) and recharged up 80% with Dell’s ExpressCharge technology within an hour.
The Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1’s drop-hinge design allows for a more seamless viewing experience with a 4-sided narrow border FHD display. Weighing just over 1,3kgs, the 2-in-1 is crafted from machined aluminium with diamond cut edges and available in a Titan Grey finish. It will also be the first Latitude to use Dell’s ocean-bound plastics packaging.
The Latitude 7400 2-in-1 features Dell’s ExpressSign-in – a sensor that detects a user’s presence and automatically wakes the system. Coupled with the IR camera and Windows Hello, users can instantly log-in to the system without lifting a finger.
ExpressSign-in also detects when a user walks away and locks the PC, ensuring that data stays safe.
The Dell 7400 2-in-1 has been developed with faster mobile broadband speed in mind with optional Cat 16 LTE technology to keep users connected around the globe.
With up to 24-hour battery life, Dell’s Super Low Power Panel and ExpressCharge enable users to charge faster and stay charged over multiple workdays. And intelligent thermal responsiveness adjusts to the way users work, keeping the system cooler when it is resting on a user’s lap for example,
The Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 features Dell Client Command Suite and VMware Workspace ONE integration, enabling users to conveniently manage Windows 10 endpoints from one console.
Dell SafeID protects end user credentials with an optional fingerprint reader on the power button and the FIPS 201 Smart Card Reader, delivering fast, multi-factor authentication.
Dell vPro extensions remotely manage and run diagnostics on a fleet of devices, whether they are powered on or off.
